Akkreditierung: 'SRM Talks' offiziell als studentische Hochschulgruppe der TUM anerkannt

Dear Sustainability people,

we are very delighted to inform you that in June 2018 SRM Talks was officially accredited to be a University Group (Hochschulgruppe). The accreditation was given by the Student Council (Fachschaftenrat - FSR) and the AStA (Allgemeiner Studentischer Ausschuss) of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

This achievement demonstrates that SRM Talks meets the Student Council's requirements to be recognized as an active University Group of TUM. Being an official University Group enables us to receive further support from TUM. You can now find SRM Talks officially listed on the TUM AStA website and students from all TUM faculties are welcome to join and support the SRM Talks team.

SRM Talks is a non-profit student initiative established in 2017 under the Division of Forest Science and Resource Management at the TUM. We organize public lecture series under the motto "SRM Talks challenges the future". Two expert speakers from private, public and development sectors address the audience every month. The topics of interest for these talks gravitate around environmental issues and sustainable solutions such as land-use, clean energy, waste management, wildlife protection and more.

In the light of this accreditation, we are looking forward to an even greater participation. SRM Talks will continue to create a community which stimulates discussion about how we can achieve a more sustainable future for all. We are happy to welcome you to our talks in this winter semester 2018/2019 scheduled as below:

  • Wed, 24th Oct, 2018: Agriculture
  • Wed, 21st Nov, 2018: Landscape
  • Wed, 12th Dec, 2018: Sustainable Business/Social Business
  • Wed, 30th Jan, 2019: Urban Challenges
